Rome 17 May 2018 — National Heritage Month 2018. Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco discusses with members of the Filipino community in Rome the importance of remembering and preserving the Philippines' national heritage. The Philippine Embassy in Rome is exhibiting various national heritage of the Philippines at the consular section of the chancery to engage overseas Filipinos as part of the continuing commemoration National Heritage Month 2018 at the Philippine Embassy in Italy on 14 May. Filipino Stories. A visitor reads a Filipino children's book from the collection of the Sentro Rizal Rome, displayed at the booth of the Philippine Embassy at the Barrio Fiesta sa Roma held on 29 April 2018 at the Collegio Filippino in Rome. The Sentro Rizal Rome at the Philippine Embassy provides access to Filipino literature and other cultural materials to overseas Filipinos, especially second and third generation Filipino immigrants wishing to learn more about Philippine culture.

Rome, 7 May 2018-- The Philippine Embassy in Rome held on 5-6 May 2018 its 9th consular outreach mission for the year in Reggio Calabria, southern Italy, which is home to almost 1,500 Filipinos.
