Reaching out to Malta. Passport encoders serve Malta-based Filipinos who need to renew their passports during the consular outreach mission conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Rome on 14-15 April 2018 in St. Julian's, Malta. This consular outreach is first of two missions scheduled for 2018 by the Embassy.
16 April 2018, ROME - A consular outreach team from the Philippine Embassy in Rome flew to Malta to serve and provide consular services to overseas Filipinos on 14-15 April 2018.
A total of 1037 transactions were completed by the consular team, composed of personnel from the Embassy, POLO-Rome, OWWA, PAG-IBIG, and SSS. The transactions included 282 passport renewals, 99 authentications, and 99 labor contract verifications.
This consular outreach is first of two missions to Malta scheduled for 2018 by the Philippine Embassy in Rome. There are over 3,000 Filipinos estimated to be residing and working in Malta.
