PH Discusses Prospects for ASEAN-EU Relations

Talking ASEAN-EU. On 30 October 2017, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Enrique A. Manalo discussed the future of ASEAN-EU relations to graduate students and members of the diplomatic corps in an academic forum at the LUISS School of Government in Rome. During the forum, Undersecretary Manalo compared and contrasted ASEAN and EU experiences in regional integration and explored opportunities for cooperation between the two organizations.
PH, Italy Hold Historic Political Consultations to Boost Relations

Philippine and Italian diplomats held the first meeting of the Philippines-Italy bilateral consultations mechanism in Rome. Leading their delegations were Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Enrique Manalo (middle, right side), for the Philippines, and Undersecretary of State, Senator Benedetto della Vedova (middle, left side), for Italy. During the meeting the two sides discussed Philippine-Italian relations, including politics, economy, and culture, among others.
