Applicants availing themselves of the various consular services provided by the PHL Embassy
20 November 2017 ROME — The Philippine Embassy in Rome opened full consular services last Sunday, November 12, to accommodate Filipino nationals who are rushing their travel papers for their Christmas vacation to the Philippines.
It was the fourth time this year that the Philippine Embassy in Rome held full consular services on a Sunday to accommodate Filipino residents in Italy who have difficulties travelling to Rome on work days.
The consular office of the Philippine Embassy handled a total of 140 transactions, of which 44 were related to the reacquisition of Philippine citizenship, 29 were applications for passports, and 26 were notarial services. END
Ms. Ceres Mateo and Josie Don, staff of the Philippine Embassy in Rome, assists individuals in completing their requirements for the re-acquisition of Philippine citizenship at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Philippine Embassy. A total of 44 individuals took their oath to complete the process of re-acquiring Philippine citizenship. Some of them immediately proceeded to apply for Philippine passports.
