Philippine Ambassador to San Marino Neal Imperial Meets with Sammarinese Foreign Minister Luca Beccari to Discuss PH-San Marino Bilateral Ties

Philippine Ambassador to San Marino Neal Imperial had a meeting with Hon. Luca Beccari, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Telecommunications of the Republic of San Marino, on 01 August 2023 at the Palazzo Begni in San Marino.
Ambassador Imperial highlighted this year’s 20th anniversary of the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and San Marino. The two officials conveyed interest to build closer ties and invigorate bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Deputy Chief of Mission Nina Cainglet and Minister Donna Celeste Feliciano-Gatmaytan accompanied Ambassador Imperial.
International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

28 June 2023, Rome Italy - In observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) on 26 June 2023, the Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted an information campaign among overseas Filipinos in Italy to raise awareness on the harmful effects of illegal drugs in the community on 28 June 2023 at the Embassy’s chancery.
Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ma. Claribel Ochoa briefed members of the Filipino community on the need to proactively be involved in educating the youth on the negative impact of drug abuse among family members, the community, and the country. The seminar was attended by overseas Filipino nationals, who acknowledged that as Filipino citizens, they play a role in preventing drug abuse among the Filipino youth.
In line with the Philippine Embassy in Rome's gender mainstreaming efforts, the Embassy also conducted a lecture on the rights of the women under Republic Act 9710, otherwise known as the “Magna Carta of Women” on the same day.
