SECOND ADVISORY ON CONSULAR OUTREACH IN MALTA

1. A total of 250 applications for passports have been received and pre-registered by the Philippine Embassy in Rome. The list of pre-registered applicants can be accessed using this link: http://romepe.dfa.gov.ph/images/Advisories/2018/LIST_OF_PRE-REGISTERED_PASSPORT_APPLICANTS_FOR_MALTA.pdf.
2. Applicants with asterisks on their names in the list have passport requirement issues and are advised to immediately contact the mission coordinator Ms. Rose Cynthia Villaruz at +39 06 397 46621 loc. 223 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Pre-registered applicants may also inquire via Facebook Messenger addressed to @PHinItaly.
3. Passport processing will be on a first-come, first served basis. Pre-registered applicants will be given priority. Their application forms have already been properly evaluated.
4. It is recommended that pre-registered applicants arrive on the suggested day according to the list of pre-registered applicants to facilitate the volume of applications. For any concerns on the schedule, applicants are advised to call Ms. Villaruz (see above).
5. Pre-registered passport applicants arriving at the consular mission venue should immediately sign their names on the Embassy’s Pre-Registered Applicants Sign-up Sheet to facilitate the queue.
6. Those whose passports applications have not been given clearance are advised to see the consular staff for assistance.
7. All applicants are reminded to bring their original Philippine passports and Maltese Identification Cards. Those who are dual citizens are required to present a copy of their Original Identification Certificate as evidence of their acquisition of Filipino citizenship.
8. An Original Birth Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is a passport requirement for the following applicants:
a. Minors (17 and below). Minors should be accompanied by their mother, father or legal guardian during the passport application.
b. Those with passports where the city or municipality of their place of birth is not reflected (for those born in the Philippines only).
9. All applicants are advised to double check if they have complete requirements for their passport applications. The list of requirements can be downloaded from:
