Nolasco discusses with the Filipino Community leaders the importance of the protocol of the Philippine Flag as a way of giving respect to the Filipino nation. On 31 May 2018, the Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted a briefing on the Protocol of the Philippine Flag for the Filipino community at the Embassy Social Hall as part of its activities in celebration of the National Flag Days beginning 28 May until 12 June.
