ROME 28 May 2018 - The Philippine Embassy in Rome held a Consular Outreach Mission on 26-27 May 2018 in Tirana, Albania, located in the Balkan Peninsula in southeastern Europe.

The Embassy consular team rendered a total of 32 services: 20 passport applications, one Report of Birth, one Report of Marriage, one oath-taking for Philippine citizenship, and nine overseas absentee voting applications. The team also addressed eight labor concerns. Clients included Filipinos based in Kosovo.

The Philippine Consulate in Albania, headed by Consul Loritan Prespa, a.h. (fifth from left in photo), also participated in the outreach mission.

There are nearly 40 Albania-based Filipinos, mostly working in the food, wellness, and construction sectors in the country’s capital of Tirana.
