ROME 21 May 2018 - The Philippine Embassy in Rome held a consular outreach mission on 19-20 May 2018 in Cagliari, the capital of Italy’s Sardinia island, where there are an estimated 1,800 Filipinos.

The Embassy consular team rendered a total of 311 services, consisting of 279 passport applications, 16 legalized documents, and 16 Reports of Birth. Six individuals also took their Oath of Allegiance to the Philippine Republic. 134 Filipinos also registered in the Overseas Absentee Voting Registration system.

The Embassy’s partner agencies, Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, rendered services to 55 clients, while the Social Security System attended to 84.

The two-day mission, the Embassy’s 10th for the current year, was in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate in Cagliari. END
