20 March 2018 ROME – The Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted a consular mission and overseas voting registration in Catania, Sicily from March 17 to 18.

The eight-member consular outreach team serviced more than 300 Filipinos coming from Catania and neighboring Reggio Calabria, Palermo, and Messina. The team processed 204 renewal of passports, 6 Reports of Birth (RoB), 2 Reports of Marriage (RoM), 52 affidavits/notarials and 6 dual citizenship applications. One hundred twelve (112) new overseas voters were registered.

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and the Social Security Service (SSS) Representative Office also joined the mission. POLO and SSS processed a total of 267 transactions.

The next consular mission is scheduled in Naples from March 24 to 25, 2018. END
