From Awareness to Acceptance, Accommodation, Appreciation. 17 January 2018 ROME — The Philippine Embassy in Rome, together with the Filipino community, joins the observance of Autism Consciousness Week from 14-20 January 2018. Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco encouraged overseas Filipinos to be aware of the nature of autism, and to accept and empower those that are affected by the condition.

Isang Pangako Pledge. On 15 January 2018, during the commemoration of Autism Consciousness Week, Filipino community members in Rome and Philippine Embassy personnel gave the “Isang Pangako” pledge to advocate the welfare of those with autism.
