The Ambassadors of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR), local authorities of Parma and officials of Cosmoproject SrL during the working mission.
18 December 2017 PARMA — Philippine Ambassador Domingo P. Nolasco participated in the working mission of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR) to Parma held from December 09 to 11. The working mission was led by the Embassy of Thailand, current chair of Committee in collaboration with Cosmoproject SrL, one of the major players in the cosmetic industry in Italy.
Dr. Primo Tortini, CEO of Cosmoproject SrL welcomed the whole delegation in its headquarter and conducted a tour in their production site. Ambassador Nolasco together with Ambassadors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam visited the cities of Salsomaggiore, Colorno and Parma.
During the visit, the ACR delegation also met with the Parma Deputy Mayor, Mr. Marco Bosi, Mayor of Salsomaggiore and President of Parma Province, Mr. Filippo Frittelli, Mayor of Mezzani Mr. Romeo Azzali, and the Mayor of Colorno Ms. Michela Canova.
Parma, is a city in Italy’s northern region of Emilia-Romagna, famous for its prosciutto (ham), cheese and architecture.
The working mission is one of ACR initiatives to increase awareness and visibility of ASEAN in Italy, to promote economic opportunities between ASEAN and Italian institutions and to create networks with local authorities. END
