Rome Sunday Consular Service

COMELEC representative Mr. Rudolf France entertains queries from individuals who are applying for registration as overseas voters. There were 31 individuals who registered as overseas voters on May 21.

23 May 2017 ROME — May 21 was the 2nd time this year that the Philippine Embassy in Rome provided full Sunday consular services to Filipino workers. Topping the list of consular services availed of by Filipino workers are renewal of passports (57), overseas voter registration (31), civil registration (3) and legalization of documents (25).

There were 40 individuals who took their oath to complete their re-acquisition of Philippine citizenship under Republic Act No. 9225 or the Philippine Citizenship Re-Acquisition and Retention Act of 2003.

Representatives of the Social Security System (SSS) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) had processed a total of 67 transactions, mostly membership registration.

The first Sunday consular mission was held on March 19.
