08 May 2017 ROME – Consul General Adrian Bernie Candolada of the Philippine Embassy in Rome called on Mayor Giuseppe Falcomata of Reggio Calabria in southern Italy on April 29 and gave him a coffee-table book on Philippine famous beaches and a taste of dried mangoes from Cebu as a way of promoting the Philippines’ tourism industry. He also conveyed his gratitude to Mayor Falcomata for facilitating the conduct of consular services held in his city from April 29 to 30.

The Embassy dispatched a consular team to Reggio Calabria and provided a total of 489 services. The team also facilitated the registration of 208 Filipino nationals as overseas voters and administered the oath of 18 who re-acquired their Philippine citizenship.

From April 22 to 23, the Philippine Embassy in Rome also rendered a total of 465 consular services to Filipino nationals in Florence during a consular outreach held from April 22 to 23. The consular team also administered the oath of allegiance of 18 former Filipino citizens who re-acquired their Philippine citizenship and facilitated 130 applications for registration of Filipino individuals as overseas voters.
