08 November 2016- Nine (9) Filipino infants, including twins, were among the 124 applicants for e-passports during the consular outreach conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Rome in the city of Salerno, southern Italy on 5-6 November 2016.

The consular outreach team, led by Consul General Adrian Bernie Candolada, processed a total of 164 applications for membership or renewal of membership in the Overseas Workers Welfare Fund and Social Security Service, and 47 various applications for notarial services.

There were also seven (7) former Filipino citizens who took their oath of allegiance to complete the process of their reacquisition of Philippine citizenship.

The consular outreach mission to Salerno was the 15th for the year conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Rome. It was organized in cooperation with the Philippine honorary consulate in Napoli, headed by Consul Francesca Giglio.
