The Embassy has received inquiries on donation of goods for Filipino national evacuated from Norcia. The Filipino community in Italy are requested to follow these steps in order for their donated goods to be delivered to our kababayans:
Step 1 – Check List of Needs as provided below. In order to avoid oversupply of the same product, please coordinate/call the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) of the Philippine Embassy in Viale delle Medaglie d'Oro 112 (phone: 06 39746101) to get details (e.g. sizes) on the needed supplies. Goods not included in the list shall not be accepted.
Step 2 – Go to POLO-Rome and drop off the goods. Your donated goods shall be received and properly documented through a receipt. DONATIONS SHALL BE RECEIVED FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 9AM-5PM.
For information, the Embassy and partner agencies will facilitate the distribution of the goods based on the needs assessment already made. We thank you for your cooperation.
