Ambassador Nolasco congratulated the eight Filipino artists for being accepted to participate in the prestigious exhibition. Participating Filipino artists were EJ Cabangon, Joe Datuin, Romina Diaz, Raffy T. Napay, Allanrey “Migz” Salazar, Gromyko Semper, Jose Tence Ruiz and Iggy Rodriguez.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic community including the Ambassadors of Malta, South Africa, Poland and El Salvador and representatives from other Embassies and Consulates.

Already on its 20^th year, the 10^th Florence Biennale focused on its theme the Art and the Polis (Art & the City) and was participated in by 423 artists from 62 countries. END
