30 October 2015 - Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo Nolasco conducted a briefing on October 26 to 39 high school students and seven faculty/tour facilitators from St. Pedro Poveda College on the Philippine-Italian Bilateral Relations and on the profile and condition of Filipinos living and working in Italy.

Ambassador Nolasco underscored the strong bilateral relations between the Philippines and Italy citing the several agreements and cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

He further encouraged the students to learn and enjoy the rich history, arts and culture of Italy and to maximize their learning experience during their field trip.

The students are in a school field trip to Italy, which is part of St. Pedro Poveda College’s Alternative Learning Program. The program aims to immerse the students in different culture to broaden their minds and widen their horizons. It also aims to develop deeper understanding of other countries’ history and culture. END
