Filipinos residing and working in the Calabrian Region of Italy availed of consular services provided by the Philippine Embassy Rome in Reggio Calabria on 03-04 October 2015. The six (6) member consular team was able to process 290 passports, 30 reports of birth, and 204 new overseas voters. Vice Consul Margret Malang also administered the Oath of Allegiance for Dual Citizenship Reacquisition of 12 former Filipinos.

The Philippine Consulate in Palermo, headed by Consul Antonino di Liberto, a.h., the Philippine Labor Office, SSS and Pag-Ibig likewise joined the outreach and serviced around 200 Filipinos.

The next consular outreach will be held on 24-25 October 2015 in Salerno.  - END
