05-06 September 2015 – Filipinos residing and working in Southern Italy’s Puglian Region of Italy flocked to Chiesa San Marcelo in the port city of Bari to avail of the consular services of the Philippine Embassy.

During the outreach, Filipino families took the opportunity to apply for passport and civil registry services. Special priority was extended to infants and senior citizens and those who find it difficult to travel to Rome.

At the end of the outreach, the eight (8) member consular team led by Vice Consul Margret Malang was able to process 272 passport applications, 39 notarials, 15 reports of birth, 2 marriage licenses and 214 overseas voting registration.

The next consular outreach of the Philippine Embassy in Rome will be held on 19-20 September 2015 in Florence. - END
