On 18-19 April 2015, the Philippine Embassy in Rome, in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General of Florence and the Filipino European Association as the partner Filcom association, conducted a consular outreach mission in the town of Empoli in Florence.

The consular outreach mission successfully serviced 413 e-passport applications, 31 Report of Birth and 61 other services (affidavits, SPAs, marriage licenses, dual citizenship and passport extensions). The mission likewise registered 405 new overseas voters.

The mission was also joined by POLO, OWWA, SSS and Pag-Ibig representatives who collectively serviced around 180 Filipinos.

The 8-man consular team was led by Consul General Leila Lora-Santos. The next consular outreach of the Embassy is scheduled in Palermo, Sicily on 09-10 May 2015.
