08-09 November 2014 – Philippine Embassy Rome representatives extended consular services and overseas registration in Bari for Filipino communities in the easternmost region of Italy, Puglia.

The eight-member consular team headed by Vice Consul Margret Malang processed 207 Passport Renewal Applications, 23 Reports of Birth, 73 Notarials, 8 Reports of Marriage, 3 Petitions for Dual Citizenship and 8 Certificates.

Labor Attache Viveca Catalig and Welfare Officer Loreta Vergara of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) also joined the outreach and provided assistance and consultation to Filipinos in the area.

COMELEC Project Term Personnel, Mr. Dennis Ricaplaza was able to register 234 new overseas voters and provided information to interested Filipinos on overseas voting and the upcoming 2016 Presidential and National elections. END
