In cooperation with the Philippine Consulate General in Reggio Calabria led by Consul General a.h. Domenico Marciano and various Filipino community associations in the area, the Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted a consular outreach mission in Reggio Calabria on 18-19 October 2014.

Total services rendered were, among others, 412 applications for e-passports, 29 Reports of Birth (ROB), 18 Affidavits, and membership for OWWA (107), Pag-Ibig (91) and SSS (95).

Furthermore, in its continuous active efforts to enfranchise as many members of the Filipino community as possible for the 2016 elections, the outreach also successfully registered 298 new overseas voters.

The outreach was held in Grand Excelsior Hotel and coincided with the 5th Anniversary celebration of the Consulate in Reggio Calabria. The outreach mission was led by Chargé d’Affaires Leila Lora-Santos and comprised of a 10-member Consular/POLO team.
