ACI has thus launched its project entitled “3000 Automobilisti Stranieri Ambasciatori di Sicurezza Stradale” (3000 Foreign Drivers as Ambassadors of Road Safety) for a period of three (3) years since 2012.

On 12 April 2014, the Philippine Embassy in Rome sent a delegation to participate in ACI’s special course for road safety education and safe driving practices held at the ACI Center in Vallelunga.

Embassy participants gained greater awareness of the risks on the road, and learned correct driving habits behind the wheel. The highlights of the training course were the practical driving exercises for the right cornering speed, proper use of brakes and ABS system, and driving maneuvers during an unexpected obstacle and loss of wheel traction.
