A total of 50 players– Filipinos, Italians and even an Indonesian– participated in the tournament.
In his message to the participants, Ambassador Reyes highlighted the academic and social benefits of chess and its potential to foster friendship between the peoples of the Philippines and Italy.
Italian national, Paolo Capetile, was champion of the 3rd Ambassador’s Cup.
