09 December 2024, ROME – The Philippine Embassy in Rome, in cooperation with the Philippine Consulate in Malta, conducted a Consular/ATN Outreach Mission in Malta from 07 to 08 December 2024.

The four-member consular team headed by Consul General Randy Arquiza processed a total of 167 applications for passport, civil registry services, notarials, certificates and retention/reacquisition of Philippine citizenship under RA 9225.

This was the Embassy’s third outreach mission in Malta for 2024. The Embassy has increased the frequency of its mission visits to meet the demand for consular services of the growing Filipino community in Malta, which is home to an estimated 15,000 Filipinos.

The mission was also made possible by the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Affairs (OUMA) of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), which funded the conduct of the consular outreach mission. END
