On 12 June 2021, the Philippine Embassy in Italy, led by Ambassador Domingo P. Nolasco, held a flag raising ceremony to commemorate the 123rd Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. This was the first time that a flag ceremony was held at the grounds of the new chancery since the renovation of the said property located in Via Aurelia.
