ROME 27 January 2020 – As part of its annual program to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Rome held its fourth Sunday Opening for the current year on 26 January 2020.


The Embassy rendered 142 services, including 112 passports, seven affidavits, 10 acknowledgements, four Reports of Birth, two dual citizenship applications, two certifications, four National Bureau of Investigation clearance applications and one driver’s license certification. 24 individuals took the Oath of Allegiance to the Philippine Republic for retention of Philippine citizenship.


The Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration served 15 and 40 clients, respectively, while the Social Security System catered to 25 clients. END
