ROME 25 November 2019 – As part of its annual program to provide consular services and other forms of assistance to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Rome held its fourth Sunday Opening for the current year on 24 November 2019.
The Embassy rendered 447 services, including 194 passports, 31 notarized documents, three Reports of Birth, 5 certificates, and 6 National Bureau of Investigation clearance applications. 42 individuals took the Oath of Allegiance to the Philippine Republic for retention of Philippine citizenship.
The Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration served 35 and 56 clients, respectively. The Social Security System catered to 38 clients while Pag-IBIG assisted 37 clients.
Applicants came from as far as the cities of Bari, Salerno, Reggio Calabria, and Florence, in addition to those residing in Rome. END
