ROME 14 October 2019 – A total of five hundred nine (509) Filipinos were served during a consular outreach mission held by the Philippine Embassy in Rome in Cosenza, Italy, from 12 to 13 October 2019.
The consular team processed two hundred twenty-five (225) passport applications, thirteen (13) civil registry applications, eleven (11) Affidavits, and twenty-six (26) Special Powers of Attorney. The team likewise pre-processed eight (8) NBI applications. Twelve (12) individuals took their Oath of Allegiance for retention/reacquisition of Philippine citizenship while one individual applied for the same.
The Embassy’s partner agencies, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Social Security System (SSS) were also present and rendered services to a total of two hundred thirteen (213) clients.
The conduct of consular outreach missions is part of the Embassy’s commitment to bring consular services closer to its constituents in areas within its jurisdiction.
