Promoting Philippine Heritage. Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. The Philippine Embassy in Rome “adopted” the Radice students to represent the Philippines in a Model UN competition at the World Food Programme Headquarters in Rome organized by non-profit organization Global Action. The students won second place. The Embassy held briefings for the students on Philippine foreign policy and culture as part of the preparations.
Food as Heritage. Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco gives a lecture on Filipino culinary heritage to students of the Liceo Linguistico Radice, a high school in Rome on 24 May 2019. The lecture is part of the Philippine Embassy’s participation in Global Action’s Embassy Adoption Program, where embassies “adopt” Italian high school students who will eventually represent their countries in a Model UN competition. The students of Liceo Linguistico Radice represented the Philippines and won second place in the competition held at the World Food Programme in Rome on 7-10 May 2019.
