Filipino migrants in Rome Mr. Romulo Salvador and Ms. Liza Bueno were among the 30 migrants featured in the exhibit.

“RHome” (which is a play on words “Rome is Home”) is a reflection on the identity of the Museum of Rome to sketch a profile of the link between the city and its migrants.  The exhibit delves into lives of prominent members of the immigrant community in Rome, starting from their humble beginnings to their respective success stories to become true “citizens” of Rome.

This photographic exhibition is the culmination of a research project, a collaboration between the Museum of Rome, the city government and professional photographers based in Rome.

Rome Mayor Ignazio Marino and Italy’s Minister for Integration Dr. Cecile Kyenge officially launched the photo exhibit, which shall run until 30 March 2014.

The Museo di Roma is located at Piazza San Pantaleo 10.
