Filipinos in Rome recognized for their contribution to the community. Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco, on behalf of the Filipino community in Rome, receives a plaque of appreciation from Mr. Felice Di Iorio, President of Associazione di Donatori Volontari di Sangue La Rete di Tutti, at a ceremony held on 05 April 2019 at the Comune Roma Municipio VIII. The token was given in recognition of the contribution to the Italian society by the Filipino community in Rome through volunteerism, including blood donation.

Nolasco with members of iPARAMEDICI, one of the organizations that were given recognition by the Associazione di Donatori Volontari di Sangue La Rete di Tutti at a ceremony held on 05 April 2019 at the Comune Roma Municipio VIII. The iPARAMEDICI, a Filipino organization, has been collaborating with La Rete di Tutti for eight years now. An estimated 200-300 of its members have donated blood to the Italian organization.
