Rome - 12 November 2018. Philippine Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco welcomed the visiting clergy of the Diocese of Kidapawan, led by Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo, at the chancery on 12 November 2018.

The diocesan delegation, consisting mainly of 32 priests and a nun, arrived in Rome from Israel on 11 November 2018 for the second leg of their pilgrimage and retreat.

Their pilgrimage will bring them to both historical and holy sites in Rome, including the St. Peter’s Basilica crypt, where they will hear mass today, 13 November 2018.

The Philippine Embassy gave the visiting clergy a brief overview of the state of bilateral relations between PH and Italy, the role of the Philippine Embassy in Italy and its initiatives to address the challenges faced by the Filipino community in Italy.

The Diocese of Kidapawan covers 11 municipalities of the province of Cotabato, three (3) municipalities of the province of Maguindanao and one (1) from the province of Sultan Kudarat.
