Member of the consular team of the Philippine Embassy in Rome captures the biometrics of a passport applicant during the consular mission in Salerno held from 06-07 October 2018.

08 October 2018, Rome – The Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted its 17th consular mission for the year during its consular outreach in Salerno from October 06 to 07, 2018, servicing more than three hundred (300) Filipinos from Salerno, Naples and Messina.

The team processed 175 renewal of passports, 13 Reports of Birth (RoB), 2 Reports of Marriage (RoM), 31 affidavits/notarials and 1 dual citizenship application.

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and the Representative Offices of the Social Security Service (SSS) and PAG-ibig also joined the mission.

Salerno is the capital of the southwestern province of Italy, Campania, located 266 kilometers south of Rome. It is home to an estimated 1,000 Filipinos.

The consular mission was held in coordination with the Philippine Consulate in Naples.
