17 September 2018, ROME – The Philippine Embassy in Italy celebrated with the Filipino community members in Rome the 15th Cerebral Palsy Awareness and Protection (CPAP) Week at the Embassy’s Consular area. Ambassador Domingo P. Nolasco gave a short message on the importance of raising awareness about cerebral palsy and how people with this condition should be treated and protected. Focusing on this year’s theme, “A Better World for Persons with Cerebral Palsy, Love+Understand+Support = Make a Difference,” the Ambassador encouraged the Filipino community members, as well as the Embassy’s personnel, to show compassion and respect to people with disabilities (PWDs), such as cerebral palsy.
