Effective 31 July 2015, all Filipinos holding an immigrant visa are required to reserve and register ONLINE before attending the PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION SEMINAR (PDOS) and the PEER COUNSELLING PROGRAM (PCP) conducted by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) in Manila. The RESERVATION AND REGISTRATION (R&R) ONLINE SYSTEM is accessible via CFO’s website at the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (www.cfo.gov.ph) or http://cfo.ph/PDOS_Reservation/.

Each PDOS will accommodate 70 attendees per session while each PCP will take in 25 youth emigrants.

Only clients who present a confirmed reservation slot and who have accomplished the on-line registration form, with the corresponding barcode reference number, will be admitted to the PDOS and/or PCP.

Aside from complying with the documentary requirements in their registration, emigrants between the ages of 20-59 are required to attend the PDOS which is country-specific and aims to equip Filipino emigrants with vital knowledge that may ease their integration into their new host country.

In CFO-Manila, PDOS schedule for EUROPE is Tuesdays and Fridays (70 slots per day) from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. PCP schedule for all countries is Mondays to Fridays (25 slots session) from 9:30AM to 12:00NN and 2:00PM to 5:00PM.

Please note that after attending the PDOS or PCP, a CFO registration sticker will be affixed to the emigrant’s passport, without which an emigrant will not be allowed to depart at the airport by the Bureau of Immigration personnel.
