Today, the Philippines celebrates the 160th birth anniversary of its national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.
Join us as we travel back in time and retrace his steps in 19th century Europe in the film documentary “Finding Rizal in a Time of Barriers” which will be launched today, 19 June 2021, 11:00 a.m. (Rome time) or 5:00 p.m. (Manila time) on the official Facebook page of the DFA in anticipation of the premiere broadcast on ABS-CBN News Channel at 1:00 p.m. (Rome time) or 7:00 p.m. (Manila time).
“Finding Rizal in a Time of Barriers” is a project of the Department of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Berlin and Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt, in partnership with the Office of Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda. The episode will have a replay on 20 June 2021, 11:00 a.m. (Rome time) or 4:00 p.m. (Manila time) also on ANC.
