SECOND ADVISORY ON CONSULAR OUTREACH IN MALTA
Venue: Catholic Institute, Misrah San Publiju, Floriana, Malta

02 September 2018 (Sunday), 8:00 to 2:30 PM

1) A total of 413 applications for passports have been received for pre-registration for the Consular Outreach in Malta.

     Please be advised that only 282 pre-registered passport applications will be accomodated, based on the following considerations:
          a) 52 applications which were not processed during the April 2018 Consular Outreach in Malta;
          b) 15 applications for new passports of newborn babies;
          c) 21 applications for change in civil status (single to married);
          d) 194 applications for renewal of passports which are set to expire on 30 April 2019 (to comply with the 6-month passport validity requirement                       for travels).

     The remaining 131 pre-registered passport applications will be given priority on the next consular outreach in Malta which is scheduled on 12 to 13           January 2019.

3) Passport processing will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the volume of the pre-registered passport applications received, walk-in applicants are not encouraged.

4) Pre-registered applicants should strictly observe the schedule of passport services as indicated in the list of pre-registered applicants to ensure smooth processing. There will be 195 applicants to be processed on 01 September (Saturday) and 87 applicants on 02 September (Sunday). For any concerns on the schedule, applicants are advised to call Ms. Santayana (see above).

5) Pre-registered passport applicants arriving at the consular outreach venue should immediately sign their names on the Embassy’s Pre-registered Applicants Sign-up Sheet to facilitate the queue.

6) Those whose passport applications have not been given clearance are advised to see the consular staff for assistance.

7) All applicants are reminded to bring their original Philippine passports and Maltese Identification Cards. Those who are dual citizens are required to present a copy of their Original Identification Certificate as evidence of their re-acquisition of Filipino citizenship.

8) An Original Birth Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is a passport requirement for the following applicants:

    a) Minors (17 below). Minors should be accompanied by their mother, father or legal guardian during the passport processing.
    b) Those whose passports do not reflect the city or municipality as their place of birth. (for those born in the Philippines only).
    c) Those whose passports were lost or damaged.
