AMBASSADOR REYES VISITS FILIPINOS IN BOLOGNA

On 22 August 2013, Ambassador Virgilio A. Reyes, Jr. accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Maria Felisa Luarca-Reyes visited the city of Bologna to meet the different Filipino associations in the region. In his message, Ambassador Reyes emphasized the importance of unity among Filipinos in Italy to advance their shared interests, andparticipation in the various projects of the Philippine Embassy in Rome and Philippine Consulate General in Milan. He also graciously addressed the concerns raised by the Filipinos therein – from OWWA and labor issues to consular/cultural activities.

The meeting was organized by the Federation of Filipino Associations in Bologna and attended by at least twelve of its member associations.
