On 14 September 2013, Ambassador Virgilio A. Reyes, Jr. attended the ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) Italian National Committee Annual General Meeting in Florence, Italy. This meeting was attended by ICOMOS Italy officials, Dott. Maurizio Di Stefano, President, Dott. Francesco Caruso, Deputy-Vice President, Dott. Giovanni Puglisi, Outgoing-Vice President and Dott.ssa Teresa Colleta, Secretary-General. The meeting was preparatory to the upcoming 18th General Assembly of ICOMOS International in Florence, Italy in 2014 and also discussed the proposed statutory modifications to the Venice Charter, the election of the new officers of ICOMOS Italy, among others.
