The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Rome informs Filipinos in Malta that the Republic of Malta has taken the following measures to address the spread of COVID-19:

1. Suspension, until further notice, of all visa services by the Republic of Malta, including all its Embassies/High Commissions and Consulates around the world.

2. With regard to expiry of Maltese residence permits, concerned Filipinos in Malta are advised to ask their employer to contact Identity Malta Agency (Expatriates Unit) via email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

3. For Filipinos in Malta whose visas are about to expire or who will overstay their visa waiver due to the current COVID-19 situation, they are requested to contact Identity Malta Agency (Central Visa Unit) via email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
