ADVISORY ON LIMITED CONSULAR SERVICES
DUE TO NOVEL CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK IN ITALY
Due to the latest decree issued today, 08 March 2020, by Italian authorities, regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak in Italy, to prevent overcrowding at the Embassy and for the protection of all, the Philippine Embassy in Rome informs that public that the following consular services are SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:
- Report of Birth
- Report of Marriage
- Marriage Solemnization at the Embassy
- Nulla Osta
- Dual Citizenship
- Petition for Correction of Clerical Error
The Embassy also advises the public that the following consular services are LIMITED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:
- Passport
- Travel Document
- Visa
- Notarization (ex.: Special Power of Attorney; Acknowledgement)
- NBI Clearance Application
- Certificate
With regard to the limited consular services above (A to F), the Embassy advises the public to apply for the same only for urgent reasons.
The Embassy will implement an Appointment System for the limited consular services. Attached to this advisory is the Appointment Request Form. To apply for any of services A to F above, fill up the the Appointment Request Form and send it to the email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The Embassy will contact (through cellphone or email) the applicants to confirm appointments or if another schedule is proposed by the Embassy.
The following Assistance to Nationals (ATN) services are CONTINUOUS AND NOT LIMITED:
- Report of Death
- Consular Mortuary Certificate
- Nulla Osta
The Embassy will remain open to the public, Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, especially to accommodate clients that have urgent consular concerns. The Embassy will notify the public in case of modification in its office hours and services to be offered.
